Studio Rules and Etiquette

  • Students are expected to come prepared for class and to be ready when class begins.
  • All students should be on time. If you must be late, please call the office to notify us.
  • If a student is late often, then they may be asked to move to a different class in order not to disrupt the flow of the class taking place.
  • Younger students are to remain with parents until class time and to be as quiet as possible. There are coloring books and puzzles in the waiting room which can help with this.
  • There will be no running or roughhousing.
  • All students should be picked up on time. No students will be allowed to wait outside the building for a parent. Please, if you must stay in your car, let the person at the desk know so they can walk the child out. Safety is paramount to all of us.
  • If you have discovered that your student has forgotten shoes or clothing, there are some items available that they can borrow.
  • Students 7 and older should have a notebook with pockets for information or homework. Students are encouraged to take notes and to practice at home. Students are expected to do their schoolwork every day so they can improve. This builds knowledge and self esteem. Dance school is no different. Dance builds strong bodies and strong minds.

Missed Classes

If a student misses a class, they will be welcomed to another class of a similar level. There will be no refunds for missed classes.

Canceled Classes

In the event of bad weather or an instructor absence, canceled classes will be made up. There will be no refunds for canceled classes.
